On Aug. 5, 2026, a Hamburg court sentenced eight members and supporters of 'Last Defense Wave,' a far-right cell that prosecutors say recruited children as young as 15 through chat apps. The defendants, aged 14 to 21 when the group formed online in 2024, were convicted of attempted murder, arson and assault.

On July 27, 2026, Singapore's Internal Security Department said it had detained three self-radicalised teenagers — aged 14, 15 and 19 — who were preparing attacks in the city-state. One had planned a mass-casualty stabbing at his school after being drawn into extremist content online, including through games on Roblox.

A Woman Died at Berlin Pride. The Suspect Was Convicted for ISIS Posts, Then Freed.
On July 25, a woman was killed and 29 injured when a van struck crowds at Berlin's Christopher Street Day. The suspect, shot dead by police the next day, had been convicted two months earlier for publishing Islamic State propaganda on Instagram, then released.
